"How do you know if your lawyer is the best person for the job? How do you know if they have any relevant experience of your legal problem? How do you know if they are any good at solving problems, being pragmatic or are going to be good value for money? The short answer is you probably don't. So how do you limit the risk of something going wrong?
I've been a Solicitor for 16 years and I've worked in every type of law firm (high-street, regional, national and international) so I've got a good understanding of the variety of work lawyers do for their clients. I've also acted for every type of business during that time from individuals, to start-ups, to blue-chip companies from almost every sector.
Along the way, I've also appeared in most of the Courts and Tribunals in England & Wales. Fortunately for my clients though, most of my cases settle quickly through strategic negotiations. I believe that's because I spend time at the start of a problem identifying a dispute's strengths and weaknesses and I use these pressure points to try and get my clients quick results.
One thing the depth and breadth of my experience has given me is an acute understanding that a client's biggest risk is the quality and approach of the lawyer doing the work for them. It's not necessarily the quality of your evidence or the likelihood of your witnesses performing well in the witness box or even the Judge getting out of bed on the right side (it can happen!) it is the quality of the lawyer you instruct. The lawyer you pick is the risk you're never warned about.

I will then refer the instruction to an expert within my network that I can trust to do a good job for you, ensuring a smooth handover.
Whatever path you choose I'll make sure you set off on the right foot as quickly as possible and in the most efficient way. This unique approach is cost-effective and will improve your chances of a positive outcome. I'm not tied to a firm or focused on fees so I'm free to put your needs first.
